News from tonight's class
This evening (Monday, May 15), we came to a summary of the bodhisattva levels, indicating what we will be covering in the text. The Tibetan name for the fifth level was a bit difficult. Literally, it translates as Difficult to Practice. In order to figure this out we first looked for an explanation of the name of the level, which we found later in the text itself. The explanation was that the demons of all the planets and their assistants can no longer defeat you. This didn't seem to match the name, so we went into the dictionary and found the Sanskrit name, which does make sense according to this explanation - it's Unbeatable.
